ROCHESTER, N.Y., Oct. 22 — Carestream Health, Inc., announced that it shipped its 10,000th KODAK Point-of-Care CR System and reports strong worldwide demand for these affordable, tabletop digital medical imaging systems.

This high-quality CR platform enables clinics, private practices and mobile medical imaging applications to convert from film to digital images—providing rapid image capture and distribution along with lower costs. These durable, lightweight computed radiography systems are also used in military field operations, as well as in remote rural areas of developing countries, usually as part of local or regional teleradiology services.
